MaxiBrace Static AFO

The MaxiBrace Static AFO is a rigid hydrostatic custom-made gauntlet style ankle foot orthosis for support and stabilization of the talocalcaneal, mid-tarsal and subtalar joints. The MaxiBrace Static AFO manages abnormal motion or severe pronation in the transverse, frontal and sagittal planes. It also stabilizes the ankle area medially, laterally,and reduces either forefoot adbuction or adduction.

Clinical Indications:

• Posterior tibial tendon dysfunction
• Degenerative arthritis
• Lateral and medial instability of subtalar joint
• Charcot deformity
• Sinus tarsi syndrome
• Severe Pronation
• Chronic ankle instability
• All ankle injuries including high ankle sprains
